How much does it cost to get a library card?
Library memberships are free.
What is required to get a library card?
Come by the library to complete a Library Card Application. Individuals must be 18 years old with a valid photo ID to obtain a library card, as well as have proof of permanent address (utility bills, shipping labels, etc.) Children 5 years old and above may get a library card with parent or legal guardian's consent.
How many items can I check out?
On your initial visit you may check out 1 item. When the initial item is returned on time, you may check out 5 items from each category (books, DVD's, puzzles) per card.

How long is my library card valid?
As long as your card is actively being used it does not expire.
Does GPL charge late fees?
GPL is a fine free library. However, if a book is not returned within 60 days it is considered lost. When an item is marked "lost" it is the responsibility of the patron to either replace the lost item or pay the replacement cost directly to the library.
